The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures seeks to inspire, entertain, and educate all visitors about the rich history of motion pictures through the lens of those who make it. The 300,000 square-foot museum features two film and performance theaters, an education studio, dynamic public spaces, 15,000 square-feet of dedicated event space for both intimate and high-profile special events, and Fanny's LA.

The Academy Museum’s seven floors feature exhibition spaces, education and special event spaces, a conservation studio, a café, and a museum store. In addition, the museum’s 1,000-seat David Geffen Theater and 288-seat Ted Mann Theater will present a year-round calendar of screenings, film series, member programs, panel discussions, family programs, and symposia.
